Great item, needed something to fit into a small flat and this fits perfectly. It's easy on the eye and non-invasive. Chairs tuck away nicely and the table folds away with ease. I would say that whilst it's not high spec/top end of the market for quality, and why would it be, you aren't paying that kind of price, it is most definitely value for money and very nice for what it is. It does what it says on the tin for a reasonable cost. Like other reviews, it is a little fiddly to put together, dependent on how you approach it. I would recommend that if you are the type to get stuck in in a hurry, pause for a second to really check the instructions, which aren't very complicated; that way you will avoid any mishaps. The table itself is pretty straight forward to piece together but the chairs require a little more patience, however, once you've got one down, the remaining three will be easy. It took two of us a roughly 2 to 3 hours to complete, but that time included a couple of breaks with one fix as we'd fitted a part the wrong way round...hence patience being a virtue with the instructions. The wood on the table has an almost untreated feel to it, which for me looks and feels great however I suspect that like others have mentioned, it could potentially mark/stain easily although I haven't personally experienced this as I am the type who obsessively uses placemats and coasters. We did experience a few cracks in some pieces of wood when screwing the chairs together, whether this was down to quality or over tightening of the screws, I couldn't say, whilst it hasn't really caused us any issues so far, it's something to bear in mind. The chairs are fairly solid for what they are however I am skeptical of their strength to withstand a more heavy set person sitting on them for an extended period of time. Again, issues with the chair strength hasn't been something I've experienced with this item but it would definitely be something to think about when purchasing. Overall, a lovely, functional item that I would recommend if you were looking for something fairly cheap and cheerful. . Melissa. Beautiful set but some pieces came damaged. Thankfully Wayfair was so helpful to assist with getting the new parts. It took me about 3-4 hrs to assemble alone. Impressed with sturdiness of this product. This unit was super easy to assemble. Some pieces of the leg chairs were scratched, but I decided to place them inward to hide the appearance. The table top is nice and seems to be durable. The chair seating area are comfortable, although after a while the back of the chairs become uncomfortable. I place pillows for comfort and style..
