Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 24, 2018 Our new Jeep Renegade didn't come with a spare tire. This kit has every thing needed to change the tire on your Renegade. You will have to take out the foam compartment insert that the Renegade come with, but you will gain more storage around the spare to place every thing and other emergency supplies. The jack and wrenches comes in a black bag (with its own foam storage) that fit snug against the spare. I would high recommend this to any Renegade owner that feels the need to hare a real spare. I was so sure about my car having a spare tire included in the bottom of the trunk. It even has the Jack and some tools, but NO SPARE TIRE. At the time of the purchase I didn’t ask about
the spare tire, first because it didn’t occur to me and secondly because I would assume it had one. I called the Jeep Chrysler Dealer and I was told that the SPARE TIRE was not included with my New Jeep Renegade latitude. How weird is this! I am paying a monthly payment of 427 dlls, and will be done paying it off in 2023! But still I didn’t even get a SPARE TIRE!

Welcome. Spare tyre is an option on all but the Trailhawk. But if the jack and toolkit are there, maybe it was an added option when new but has been removed by previous owner?

I even check the spare on rentals. Is that bad? I remember heading into Death Valley one time with a rental Patriot that only had a skinny spare. Which gave me some concern.

I called the Jeep Chrysler Dealer and I was told that the SPARE TIRE was not included with my New Jeep Renegade latitude. Here's what my 2021 Owner's Manual says about the location of the Tire Service Kit:
Note that it says a screwdriver and the
emergency fuel funnel are (supposed to be) in with the kit -- not separately (like with a full-size spare). But if the jack and toolkit are there, maybe it was an added option when new but has been removed by previous owner? It does seem weird that a jack is there, but no spare tire. Unless Jeep wanted to make sure you could jack the vehicle for whatever purpose, not just tire change. In any case, Marina Linn wrote that she
bought the Renegade new in 2017. It would take some research to determine if a full-size (or any) spare tire was standard with the 2017 Renegade Latitude. Checking the window sticker would settle that. (In my case, I never ever get rid of window stickers!) It's actually not weird at all. Spare tires are becoming more and more rare in modern cars.

A kit will include all the tools and parts you need to change a tire on a Renegade.
