1- Press the Home button to go to the Amazon Home screen

2- Press up to highlight the top Menu items, and scroll all the way to the right and select Settings

Once the television is back on again, navigate to Settings and try to find the category that says Equipment Control.

It’s usually the icon where there’s a television and other devices below it (besides applications and remotes & Bluetooth devices).

Step #4: Navigate to Change TV

Clicking on Equipment Control will open another menu, with Manage Equipment on it.

Select Manage Equipment. From Manage Equipment, you’ll see Add Equipment, TV, and Advanced Settings.

In this case, you’d want to select TV > Change TV.

Step #5: Proceed to Guided Setup

This is the step after you’ve clicked on, Change TV; proceed to the guided setup.

Wait until it detects what television brand you have – it’ll ask you if it’s correct. If it’s not correct, select No. Otherwise, press Yes.

For the last step, all you have to do is power cycle everything – both your television and your Fire TV stick.

What this does is it refresh the devices’ connectivity capabilities. And, as we all know, a simple restart is a huge thing in technology, right?
