Oil rubbed bronze kitchen sprayer replacement

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great
Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2021

This matches my Delta perfect. The hose is black instead of creamy color that fades into that dirty look. But there is a easier way to install the the sprayer instead of laying on your back and cussing becouse you cant get the wrench up in there to loosen the nut holding it onto the sink. Cut the old sprayer off a few inches behind the sprayer , then slide the old hose out and push the new hose down through the hole. Buy yourself a hose minder that will fit both the old hose and the new sprayer. Make sure the Male ends will screw up to the female end to the new sprayer, and don't forget a small tube clamp that you will need to put on before you install the hose minder. I took my new sprayer to the hardware store and matched the hose minder to the female end of sprayer. It cost me $2.50 to fix it this way and it had taken me 5 minutes. Also if the hose is stiff for the hose minder to fit into , grab a hair dryer and put some heat to it, works great. Check out the picture I posted so you can get a better idea of what I done, also this way will give you more hose to pull out when you are spraying something on the other side of the sink.

Se ve muy bien , pero no lo pude instalar.

I bought two of these, the second one being to replace a first one that I got eleven months' use out of. I figured the broken seal at the dorsal where the two halves of the sprayer come together was an anomaly, and since aside from that it had worked so well, I was willing to let the first failure go and invest another $25 in a second one. I couldn’t find any warranty info so I just put the old one away in my spare parts…everything else worked fine so I only needed to replace the sprayer itself with the new one.

Unfortunately, the second sprayer failed at the same place, and in the same amount of time. So, I don’t think it was an anomaly anymore. I’ll let you decide by the video.

If it lasted a decent length of time, I would give it five stars for the value. My breakdown on star rating is:

Easy To Install: 4 Stars – But I have fixed things in my house for forty years. Don’t make any sprayer your first home plumbing experience. It comes with fantastic instructions, though, and they are available on this product page.

Value for Money: 3 Stars – If it didn’t break, this would be a 5 Star home run. If exercising a warranty were simple, I’d give 4 Stars.

Sturdiness: 1 Star – For the obvious reason. It isn’t sturdy – at least these two aren’t! 😉

Hope you find this useful!

After installing, I found that the handle leaked from the bottom. I was able to stop the leak by inserting a washer into the seat of the collar, which stopped the leak, but also prevents the handle from swiveling like it should.

I purchased the sprayer since there were so many good reviews and i was looking for something with a little more pressure than the last one i had. First id like to state that the sprayer has plenty of power. Maybe more than needed. You have a pressure sprayer and aerated option. Both are great to have. The pressure is really strong. To get less pressure you have to turn the water knob down a little. The quality seems to be great, ive used now for over 2 weeks with no issue. The bad is that hooking it up for me was a tad harder. I had to get parts from HD to make it work. It has a lot of options for hook up and the one i needed that it came with was no good. I had to re configure how to make it work. But still worth the money!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works well for Moen Quick Connect

Just installed it, works great. Best affordable match I could find for our discontinued Moen Vestige oil rubbed bronze 7068ORB kitchen faucet after the original side spray sprang a leak. You have to sort through the array of adapters matching pictures to the instructions, but they include both types of Moen quick connects.

The sprayer itself looks sleek and provide a nice directed spray. I miss the days of good solid metal over modern cheap plastics, but it seems that options are limited and the price point is tough to argue with.

1.0 out of 5 stars Beware of Houtingmaan Garbage!

Piece of garbage. Leaked brand new out of box. Warranty from Amazon sucks. I never installed right away but about 2 months after item delivered. Called Amazon twice. Service was HORRIBLE. Wrong vendor phone number 1st time and wrong link to vendor second time. Amazon is selling junk and low quality garbage items that leaves the consumer holding the item with the hole in their wallet. Buyer beware with Houtingmaan products and Amazon customer service. What a way to make Billions!

The sealing agent failed after les then 1 year of intermittent use and now leaks everywhere when I use the tap. Unless I got a lemon, would not recommend.

Can you replace just the sprayer on a kitchen sink?

Whether you're installing a sink sprayer replacement or adding a new sprayer to your current kitchen faucet set-up, it's a pretty quick and simple update. It's also a cost-effective alternative to installing an entirely new faucet with a sprayer.

Can you replace just the sprayer hose on a kitchen faucet?

For the best results, purchase a replacement assembly that is made by the same manufacturer of your faucet, but universal kits will also work. It only takes three really simple steps to replace the old sprayer hose: Remove the old assembly, Install the new deck fitting, and Get the new hose in place.
