My name is Scott Jentsch and I am running for the School Board of the School District of New Berlin!

Please see my Election Day Message!

My family has lived in New Berlin for 28 years. My oldest daughter graduated from Eisenhower High School in 2019, and my youngest is a Junior at Ike. They both attended Elmwood Elementary.

My wife teaches second grade in a nearby School District that is a benchmark district for New Berlin, and is rated as one of the top districts in the state. This provides me with a unique view into the classroom experience, while being able to compare and contrast it to the experiences of our children in New Berlin's schools.

My long experience in New Berlin has given me the opportunity to forge constructive relationships with various School Board members, administrators, and staff over the years, as well as connections in City government as well.

Find out more about me, and why I feel I'm qualified to be a School Board member!

While the School District of New Berlin has earned many accolades over the years, it has faced quite a few challenges as well. Every district struggles with their budgets and ours is no exception. While recent events have allowed us to avoid serious consequences, the challenges have not gone away and our fortunes will not continue for long.

The citizens of New Berlin need a strong School Board that knows how to work together to accomplish its goals and overcome the challenges we are facing. If you've attended Board meetings or watched them online, you know that our current Board is not as strong as it could (and should) be. I believe that having a positive mindset and maintaining a respectful attitude (even while disagreeing) is key to focusing on what's really important — the education of our children.

Read my goals as a member of the School Board if elected!

If you have questions, please contact me and I will be happy to discuss your concerns and my ideas for our path forward!

We are planning to reach out with mailings and signs, and we welcome any support that you can provide! Check out our How to Help information for how you can help spread the word and how to donate so we can purchase signs, send mailings, and purchase advertising to reach as many people as possible. Thank you for your support!

New berlin school board election 2022

As veteran educators, we both know how important it is to have compassionate advocates for students and families on local school boards. Scott would be an incredible asset to the New Berlin School Board. Anytime we listen to him speak or read statements he has written, we are impressed! Scott is logical, thorough, and empathetic. Our children will be well served once Scott is elected.
