How to change the password on an ipad

Have you had to change your Google or Gmail password recently and now your phone doesn’t sync? Below is how to change the password in your iOS, iPhone or iPad. I have attached a helpful video to show exactly how to change. I hope it helps!

1. Click Settings
2. Scroll down to Accounts & Passwords
3. Click on your Gmail account
4. A box will appear for Re-enter Password, click the box
5. Fill in your password, if you use two-step authentication like a Google Text code, enter there.

If you need to alter your passcode, keep in mind you’ll need to enter your current one before you can change it.

How to change your passcode on iPhone and iPad

Open Settings
Swipe down and tap Face ID & Passcode (or Touch ID & Passcode)
Enter your existing passcode
Swipe down, tap Change Passcode

Here’s how the process looks:

Swipe down on the Face ID & Passcode screen and tap Change Passcode.

You can tap Passcode Options just above the keypad if you’d like to use a custom alphanumeric code or a four-digit code.
