These FOX 2.0 Adventure Series 984-50-980 shocks for the Jeep Wrangler TJ are a great addition to your vehicles suspension. Tuned for Zone Suspension systems, but works excellent with nearly any suspension lift. These wll give provide a comfortable on-road ride and controlled off-road handling, they use a 2 inch OD alloy body construction with a large 5/8 inch heat treated hard chrome plated shaft for increased strength and durability. The monotube design uses an internal floating piston (IFP) to separate the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen charged gas chamber. This eliminates oil aeration for fade-free performance from the vehicle specific valved shocks for in rough terrain. Engineered for all 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models, this product features a race-tested, high-flow damping piston technology and is reinforced with application-specific valving so you can count on your Jeep to deliver optimum performance during your excursions. Not only does these shocks eliminate oil aeration by effectively separating the shock oil from the nitrogen gas-chamber, it also makes use of Fox's JM92 Advanced Suspension Fluid to ensure dependable performance at different temperatures.

Built for Durability. When you choose the FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP Shocks, you can count on its rugged construction and resistance to the elements to help you go far. It has a 2.0" metal impacted 6061-T6 aluminum body as well as a clear-anodized body plating that enhances its durability and rust resistance. Similarly, its components are constructed out of black anodized CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum. The shock shaft, on the other hand, boasts a hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel construction for superior strength, while its nitrile rubber bushings ensure enhanced articulation.

Effortless Mounting. Installing the FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP Shocks is uncomplicated and can be accomplished fairly easily. These shocks are designed to be direct replacements for the front and rear on TJ Wranglers equipped with a 3" to 3.5" lift.

Application. The set of four FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP Shocks is designed specifically for use on all 1997 to 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models equipped with a 3" to 3.5" lift kit.
