Posted by7 years ago Archived  My wife is 5 weeks pregnant. We did home tests a few weeks ago that were positive and a blood test last week where her hcg levels were 50. We had a scare last night and went to the ER. Doc says everything looked normal and her hcg levels were at 1000. Today we wanted to take a reveal photo and she got 4 book errors from the pregnancy test. Has anyone else seen this? Does a book error mean anything bad? Anonymous 30/09/2011 at 4:15 pm So I've took 8 clearblue digital pregnancy tests over the past few days! and Read that if you have a flickering book and arrow symbol at the bottom then this is an error? is this true? If it has this then comes up pregnant 2-3 on all of them is it still an error? I've spent far too much on thease tests and every one of them has done this...I'm just wondering if it's an error if it has the flashing open book and arror symbol under screen but goes to pregnant 2-3 Is that wrong or is it only if nothing but that comes on the screen??:hmmm:

I looked at the clearblue leaflet it say's if it shows up with the book and arrow and shows a pic of a test with a book and arrow and nothing else it's an error but mine was just flashing while timer was flashing but not constant then said pregnant 2-3... I had bought 4 packs of the 2 tests (8 tests in total) but from different places. not sure if it's an error on all of them esp as it did say pregnant:hmmm: Anonymous 30/09/2011 at 5:55 pm It could be that you havent had enough wee on all of them which would cause the error symbol I'd perhaps get a different type of test like a superdrugs own which just comes up with 1 line for not pregnant and 2 lines for pregnant it will be a simpler answer for you. Perhaps u have a bad batch before they all did it, r u laying them flat straight after poas? I've ordered some off ebay, hopefully arriving today Like the others say i think it would show negative if it was faulty. I'm just wondering if they are faulty if the result still comes up?? ie pregnant 2-3 and then you don't see the book anymore just while timer is on it flickers the odd time.:hmmm: But i got them all different shops. |
