I do like the look of the one you linked better, and amazon reviews are more solid. level 1 Too bad all these remotes require line of sight… level 2 I was thinking about ditching my chromecast with google TV and just using the Xbox series x for streaming and YouTube tv but I can't for the life of me figure out why it doesn't have any non-infrared media remotes! level 2 I have the short version of this. Just be sure your Xbox can control your TV volume. It won't control my sound bar, so this remote won't control volume. In other words it ONLY controls the Xbox itself and nothing else. No way to 'train' it to control TV or sound bar or whatever. level 2 Yeah the long ones are the ones I hate. Who needs a number pad nowadays? level 2 Best part about the 8bitdo is that you still have the guide button that you can set to any app you want, like Netflix, Disney and plex. level 1 I wouldn’t bet on it seeing as how much they tried to move away from the whole TV thing they were going for at the beginning of the Xbox one gen. There are some third party remotes you can get though level 1 I feel if they haven't released one by now, they probably won't. Especially since this generation has been moving away the media center mentality that the Xbox One focused so much on. level 2 I still have my cable tv hooked into the back of my xbox one. Not that I've ever used it but it was an appreciably weird time. level 1 I have the LG nano cell tv with the LG universal remote and if you set it up on the Xbox in the settings you can actually control media on it with it. It’s not 100% flawless but it works. level 2 This also works on my Samsung q80t. level 1 Does anyone know if these Xbox One media remotes can work with a Windows PC? Features

Handy, but not as good as the original mechkarnage Verified Purchaser 7 months ago Its better than using a controller for when you're using your xbox to stream content, but it's not as good as the original/official remote that was discontinued. The motion activated backlight only comes on for a split second where it used to stay on for a few seconds and then fade out.
