This video demonstrates how to change a burnt out taillight bulb on your 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe. Some of the other bulbs in the tail light cluster such as the brake light or turn signal may also function as the tail light in your Santa Fe. It is possible for the turn signal or brake light to work but the tailight part to be burnt out - replacing the bulb on your Santa Fe will restore functionality to both. Since the tailights are on whenever your parking lights or headlights are on, they will burn out eventually. Burn out tail lights are a common reason for a police officer to pull you over, so we recommend changing all of the tail lights on your Santa Fe whenever one is burnt out.

When changing the tailight bulb on your Santa Fe, be careful not to touch the glass part of the new bulb as this will cause the tailight bulb to burn out quicker.

The brake lights on your 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport illuminate when you hit the brake pedal and help prevent you from being rear ended by the cars behind you. Brake light bulbs grow dimmer over time and eventually burn out. This video shows you how to change the brake lights on your 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. When you replace the brake light bulb on your Santa Fe Sport, be careful not to touch the bulb directly with your fingers - the oil from your skin will cause the area that you touched to burn hotter than the rest of the bulb, which causes the bulb to burn out quicker.

If you are going to replace a bulb in your cluster, it is a good idea to replace all of them. Not only will the lights on your Santa Fe Sport be brighter, you decrease the likelihood you will need to change any of the bulbs again in the near future. A burnt out bulb in the taillight cluster of your Santa Fe Sport is an excuse for a police officer to pull you over. Check your bulbs frequently and change burnt bulbs promptly.

Why are my brake lights staying on Hyundai Santa Fe?

Bad Switch: One common reason for the Parking Brake light to stay on is a failing or failed switch. This can be checked easily by jiggling the handle after it is down. If the light turns off (or turns off and then back on), the switch is the most likely culprit and will need to be replaced.
