Chrysler 2.4 crankshaft position sensor is bolted in lower engine block, behind the engine (engine side facing the vehicle's firewall) look above the oil filter adapter from under car. Crank sensor held/secured by a bolt, remove bolt and sensor will come out with a little pull/twist force. Links below show the location and how to test crank sensor. Good luck. Discussion Starter · #1 · Jun 17, 2016 My van currently has 190,000 miles and recently replaced Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS) after MIL code P0339 & P1128. This is the location of crankshaft position sensor after removing the coil pack and the platform where the coil pack sits on. I watch an YouTube video of 2005 dodge caravan with same engine and followed some wires back to the CPS
