Series Info

Set in the 1970s, this animated raunchy comedy is inspired by the life of stand-up comic Bill Burr, who is a co-creator and executive producer of the series. Burr also voices the character of Frank Murphy, a short-tempered veteran who lives in the suburbs with his wife, Sue (Laura Dern) and their three children. Frank, who works at an airport, has a penchant for shouting and profanity-filled rants. The series celebrates all things 1970s, including the lifestyle, the music, and all sorts of other nostalgic details.

Absolutely love this show. It captures a 70s family in a comical way. The main character, the father played by Bill Burr is hilarious.

An entertaining double shot of laughs and well written dialogue. If you enjoy adult animated comedies don't miss "F is for Family."

The best voice work for an animated series that includes;
Bill Burr, Laura Dern, Justin Long, Haley Reinheart, Sam Rockwell (Vic character Sam does looks like Matthew McConaughey), Trevor Devall, David Koechner, Debi Derryberry, Mo Collins, Michael K. Williams, Kevin Michael Richardson, Kevin Farley and Vince Vaughn.

I would buy seasons 2 and 3 if they were available! Glad to see Netflix start a season 4 this week!

Came in good time. The single disc works great i just wish that there were more seasons available for purchase :(

Not having netflix I was really desperate to see this show. I won't wax poetic about the details of the show since other reviewers have done so but I love it. A few bucks overpriced for a 6 episode season but according to how much I laughed, it was worth it. Bill Burr and the other voice actors/ writers/ producers have a hit on their hands here.

This show is absolutely hilarious. Vic is one of the most awesome characters on TV. If you can make it past all the swearing (which some of my friends have struggled with), you will be watching it over and over. Buy it now.

I love this show its one of my favorite shows on Netflix glad they put this on blu ray I hope they release the other seasons on blu ray sometime soon

I'm a big watcher of animated shows in general and so, thought i'd check this out ...

It's not bad, but nor is it top tier imo.

Some laughs here and there and maybe it'll be a grower/ slow burner.
I will watch more to find out.

I'm only giving this a Aussie release a modest 3/5.

It is just 1 disc -6 episodes.
Also, This is a bare bones release with no extras at all.

At full price it's not value -
Also, I just don't see a time when further seasons will get released either so it's not like you can/could collect the other seasons of the show on DVD or Bluray.

For these reasons, I really think you'd be better off buying something else and
Just watching thlis on Netflix if you have it.

Some better buys would be Mike Tysons Mysteries (hilarious) and Bojack Horseman which has season 1 & 2 being released in the next couple of months - that's an excellent show and really is worth checking out, if you haven't already.

Older shows - King of the Hill is still a big favourite for me or maybe Daria.

this show is,,, watchable. it made me laugh like once or twice, but it tries to be a bit more than just the usual adult comedy stuff which is nice, i just dont think it actually succeeds at it
