The eye area skin tends to be thinner and more delicate than rest of face. Eye creams target concerns specific to the eye area, such as under eye dark circles and puffiness, which a facial moisturizer may not address. Also, ophthalmologist testing helps to ensure the formula is appropriate for the eye area.
