Conceived by Tim Burton and released in 1993, The Nightmare Before Christmas was directed by Henry Selick, who saw the film go on to have monumental success in the coming years. Selick would later helm the 2009 stop-motion movie Coraline. Like his other movies, the film was never given an official sequel.

At the peak of production, 20 individual stages were simultaneously being used for filming. In total, there were 109,440 frames taken for the film.

Unfortunately not – while you can enjoy another prominent Burton-associated animation, Corpse Bride, on the streamer, The Nightmare Before Christmas is not currently available on Netflix.

Tim Burton has said he doesn't want the film to have a sequel. Seeing as Burton owns part of the character rights to "The Nightmare Before Christmas," he has been staunchly against creating a sequel of the film.
