Nice but not a miracle worker!

I enjoy this product and I do feel like it makes a difference. I have very thick hair which means in the heat I get an itchy scalp. I get dandruff and I find this helps to reduce it. It hasn’t solved the problem but it has made it a lot more manageable so for the price, worth it in my opinion!

A must have

I suffer with eczema and very dry skin (and scalp from time to time). I have tried everything to stop my scalp flaking but nothing helps until i watched Jamie Genevieve's Youtube vlog and saw the results this gave her. I immediately ordered one for myself and one for my daughter. It is a godsend, it gets rid of the flakiness and leaves your scalp feeling clean and looking clear. For the first time in years my scalp is flake free as is my daughters. I won't ever be without it and reordered before i ran out. I use it on dry hair and scalp, run it along my parting and wherever my scalp is dry, massage it in, leave as directed then wash my hair as usual. I use it usually every 2 or 4 washes depending on how my scalp is behaving. Definitely worth trying

Amazing results

I suffer with eczema and dry skin my scalp included. Anything can trigger a flare up. Since my daughter had covid right at the beginning of the outbreak her scalp has become very sore and dry. Nothing has helped. I thought we'd try this and within one use our scalps were perfect. Make sure you keep using as my daughter thought everything was ok. It wasn't. Patches appeared so it is about maintainence too. I can recommend though if you're unsure of it works. It definitely does

Please never discontinue

I saw a low rating for this product when I’ve been adding it to my cart (multiple times again) So I wanna say that this scalp peel is amazing. I am prone to scabs/dry irritated areas on my scalp (even though I have oily hair), this product exfoliates nicely and brings days of fresh hair. It is quite concentrated - if you leave it on for beyond 10 recommended minutes - you will feel burning/tingling sensation. I love it, 5 stars.

Disappointed

I bought this after reading so many positive reviews but I am really disappointed. Firstly, the size is way too small considering the amount of product I have to apply. Due to the way it is packaged, it is really difficult to actually get any product at all on the scalp when using pure. I also tried mixing it with my shampoo, but still it did absolutely nothing - my hair is still as oily and my scalp is still as flaky/congested. I got better results by mixing salt with hair oil and massaging my scalp. I think I’d give this another try if the bottle was >200ml and had some kind of nozzle at the top to facilitate application, but until then I will not be repurchasing. The only reason I’m not giving 1* is because the packaging at least is recyclable and not full of useless plastics.

Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Hair Treatment

I purchased this about a month ago and have been using it every time I wash my hair. It didn’t clear my scalp which has some cradle cap, but it did make my hair lovely and soft. My hairdresser even remarked what lovely condition my hair was in. Would recommend for lovely clean and soft looking hair.

Excellent product - once you learn how to use it

My hair and scalp are so sensitive, both too oily and react badly to anything new I put on them. So it took more over a month to get the courage to try this. But I'm glad I did - it is excellent to clean the scalp properly. But I need to read the reviews to know how to use it - why on earth did they write in the instructions amount in pumps, when the bottle doesn't have a pump... You should get a small amount (enough to get light coverage of the area) directly on the scalp, in the areas you want and rub it in. Leave it for 10 minutes like they said, and rinse. You should follow with your shampoo or even add a few drops with the shampoo in addition.

Did wonders to my super oily scalp

This treatment helped my hair in looking less oily by cleaning my scalp from oil buildups, it dried my hair a bit but I am now using the Inkey list HA hair treatment that is providing moisture to my hair and they work perfectly together.

Is salicylic acid good for your scalp?

Salicylic acid helps rid your scalp off dry skin and dandruff, which means reduced itchiness and irritation. Salicylic may also help with pronounced dermatitis, a common condition that can make the skin on your head feel itchy, dry, rash-like and swollen. Salicylic acid is a hero in the world of dandruff care.

How do you use salicylic acid exfoliating scalp treatment?

Use Salicylic Acid Scalp Treatment as pre-shampoo treatment (before you wash your hair) on either wet or dry scalp..
Shake the bottle before use..
Use the nozzle to apply directly onto scalp and use your fingertips to rub in..
Apply enough to cover entire scalp..
Leave on for 10 minutes then wash hair as normal..

Does salicylic acid damage hair follicles?

Thus, salicylic acid could cause a detachment of the cornified cells on the surface of the skin and in the hair follicles.

Can I use salicylic acid on scalp everyday?

Just switch out your usual shampoo with a salicylic acid-based option one to three times a week (the number will vary depending on your scalp issues and how often you wash your hair). If you're looking for a deeper cleanse, try a scalp scrub.
