The line between my brows is especially deep. It was an indentation. If I ran my fingers over it, I could feel the "dip" The lines on my forehead are not as deep. Nasolabial Folds are a family trait. I was getting those no matter what. :) I was considering Botox but I'm afraid to do it. I'm afraid I'll be one of the few that get the droopy eye effect. I'm 48. I keep thinking "Not yet. Wait. Maybe when you're 50" But that line between my brows was no joke. I only use a very small amount so it's lasted quite some time. I put it on the line between my brows, on my forehead and on the folds. After about 2 weeks when I touched the line between my I noticed slight improvement, I was pleasantly surprised to have any. Then I got the idea to use this along with wrinkle patches. So, for the last 4 weeks I've been putting the StriVectin on, letting it absorb/dry then put a wrinkle patch on the wrinkles. That's been huge. The wrinkle patches by themselves work well but the results don't last long. This combo makes the effects last all day (I do this overnight). I have to press some to feel the line between my brows. It's still there. It's just not as deep and certainly not that noticeable anymore. Even if I forget a night or two. The lines on my forehead continue to soften. Still there but softer, easier to camouflage. The folds are softer. They're not going anywhere though. : This is working for me so I'll continue to use it. The label says it is a different formula, but I am not sure what they changed. There was a sort of tingly feeling when I applied the "old" product that I don't experience with this one. But I like the feel of this cream, and I will probably continue to using it. I have not looked up the actual differences in size, but this container is much smaller than what I previously purchased, so I am not sure if the value is comparable. Update: 9/17/2015-I found the original Strivectin on amazon sold by another seller. Reviewed in the United States on May 16, 2013 strivectin rules. i recommend it to anyone who has VERY LIGHT surface lines, NOT decades of life embedded into their face. deep laugh lines that have been there for years and years that you can see when you aren't smiling are not going to go away. this is a preventative product, not a miracle face lift. I have been using this since i was 28, and i'm 35 now. when i was 28 i looked about 19-21, but then i started to get light laugh lines around my eyes and mouth. i got this and now at 35 i look about 25. its all about early intervention! i plan on buying the great wrinkle escape as well to beef up my battle against time. ALSO...you can't just slap this stuff on and not have a daily face regimen. the better care you take of your skin the better results you will have. my personal regimen is to wash with st. ives apricot blackhead and blemish control in the morning and in the evening, making sure to get every nook and cranny on the face. THEN i pat my face dry lightly with a towel because rubbing pulls the skin. once my skin is dry and it feels a little tight, i put strivectin on the pads of my pinky fingers and do under and around my eye. that tissue is super thin and sensitive so you should use your pinky because it will apply the least amount of pressure and pulling out of all your fingers. THEN i put a little bit on my pointer finger and then do between my eyebrows with an upward spread, then i do my checks with a sideways spread, and my chin with a downward spread. and you dont need a lot, a little dab will do ya. another important thing is that while you are decreasing the wrinkles, do NOT use eyemake up. applying eyemake up is stressful to the eye area and pulls the skin. you should lay off the stuff until your face looks like what you want it to look like. Reviewed in the United States on February 21, 2017 My stretch marks have gotten a little out of control and this is THE FIRST product that EVER worked for me. It visibly made my stretch marks less visible. That is a miracle. I have stretch marks on both my upper thighs, on my buttocks. They have suddenly appeared when I was a teenager and they have steadily grown thicker and longer since. I was so desperate, because whenever good weather came and I had or I simply wanted to wear a skirt or a swimsuit at the beach I had to live with the thought that my stretch marks make me look terrible and that they are so visible that people just take a look at me for few seconds and they become the focus. It's been hard for me. I am so grateful and glad that I found such an amazing product. It's a little expensive, but it's so worth it. If used regularly 2 times a day I promise you, you will see that they will get thinner and will subside. One sad thing is that the product doesn't last more than few weeks, if you're lucky yes maybe lasts more. So that's the only real disadvantage. I'm almost at the lower part of my bottle and very soon I will have to order a new one. It works wonders. so yes I will order this until my stretch marks are totally gone or at least so tiny that I won't care flaunting my pretty long legs at the beach or wherever. It takes a few weeks to notice (for me. I assume individual results may vary), but it's pretty drastic. I had abdominal surgery where they cut around my belly button and has stretch marks and I've always felt self conscious of how dark they were. Don't get me wrong- everyone has stretch marks and so on, but mine were very dark. The color faded after a few weeks and I saw a lot of improvement, which obviously raised my self esteem. My only caveat is that you can buy this at Costco for much cheaper, so I'd probably do that. But it's definitely a good idea to start with the small one and see if it works for you. Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2018 I have used strivectin for about 15 years, also vitamin C. Its advertised as better than botox, and that's not very true. It costs a lot but you use it sparingly and it lasts for months. I haven't seen any lines disappear the way I understand botox is supposed to do, but It does make your skin younger looking. I've tried to find a "generic," less expensive product that could replace it, but everything I've tried fails to work as well. I know it used to be a prescription only product, and therefore had extensive product safety testing, probably more than any other product on the market. Now I use StriVectin with a derma roller, and my skin has fewer red spots, dark spots, and visible blood vessels. I would bathe in this stuff if I could. It has worked particularly well on my neck and forehead wrinkles, making them much less noticeable. The lines around my eyes have also improved. I expect that if I hadn't already been using other products, there would have been a greater improvement. I like that this product has no artificial color or added fragrance. It does have a bit of a minty smell, but it's hardly noticeable and dissipates quickly. Even though it's pricey, a little goes a long way, so this lasts quite a while. The lines around my eyes are noticeably gone and the ones around my lips are reduced, although not gone. I use before bed, when I get up and after I shower. As soon as it soaks into my skin, I add a moisturizer, because it feels better when I do.
