I have att sim , today I was watching YouTube then all of a sudden I lost signal cannot make calls or use internet, I live a half mile away from the tower witch I usually get 4 to 5 bars of excellent lte

Sounds like they are forcing you to Verizon based SIM.

The reason is Verizon bought Tracfone and all of the Tracfone brands, and they are trying to get everyone on Verizon towers.

I recently switched to Mint and can’t believe I stayed on ST as long as I did. Just an awful on experience across the board near the end.

I was on the Verizon towers the whole time, but ST went to shit with the buyout. Mint has been an absolute pleasure and their customer service is not inhumane.

I had the same thing happen. I had AT&T and it just quit working yesterday. Nothing would go through at all.

luckily I'd already ordered the verizon sim card, so I popped that in and it started working again. :/

What do we do if it says the phone isn’t compatible because the sim is “locked” ..? I swear I had an unlocked phone but tracfone now locked it and the Verizon SIM card they sent won’t work

Had to go back to my slow Iphone 6 plus.

I jailbroke it and using Tetherme with it to use my Iphone X again. haha

They are temporarily cutting service several minutes every week or so to remind or push ppl to switch to Verizon. I haven't done it. I like att due to traveling coverage
