Patch Notes (NSW): Fixed an issue where diagonal movement on joycons made SpongeBob move too slowly. Implemented a fix to minimize the chance of corrupted save games. Added the option to replay Robo-Bosses after their first defeat.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated marks the return of one of the most iconic licensed characters to enter the 3D platforming fray. Sadly, this flashy remake feels more like a skin-deep remaster in practice, doing little to fix the issues that plagued the original adventure.

Can you play SpongeBob Battle for Bikini Bottom rehydrated offline?

It even has online and offline multiplayer, albeit in the tired and tested form of a Horde mode. Unfortunately, no online games could be found during my time with the game, but local multiplayer worked as it should. Performance aside, BFBB is the same SpongeBob we know and love – for better and for worse.
