This was such a disappointing vacation. Dinners are a disaster. You don’t need a reservation but you need to stand in line for at least 30 minutes or more to be told to come back in 2 hours or even that the restaurant you want has no room. Horrible. Loud adults only sections. Drinks are not top shelf. You’re like sardines on the beach and no one gets out of the pool. I loved that with this resort we also had access to the riu palace next door and all of their amenities as well. Rooms are really spacious & nice with a fully stocked mini bar & liquor dispenser. Everything is kept super clean
and the pools are immaculate. Food is good. The buffet offers a good variety of food for everyone! Does Riu Palace AllThe first thing we think of when we are told that everything is included is food and drink. And the answer is yes, everything is included. From the mojito you sip at the pool bar while enjoying the sunset, to the croissantyou have for breakfast in the morning at the buffet.
What is the difference between RIU and Riu Palace?Both provide the same basic services but one does it better. The Palace resorts are better than the RIUs- no matter what RIU level you go to the Palace resorts will always be better. NIcer, higher end rooms, nicer towels, room service, better food, better alcohol. It's all just better.
