Life is strange remastered nintendo switch release date

Life is Strange: Remastered Collection has been delayed for Nintendo Switch. The official Twitter for the game made the announcement on January 20. However, other scheduled releases are still due to launch on February 1.

The announcement mentioned that the delay for the Switch is due to “a little set back” and the games “will need a bit more time until they are ready.” No new official release date was provided in the announcement, but it was said that the game will be released later this year.

While Nintendo Switch players will have to wait a little longer to experience the story collection, there is some good news for other consoles. PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia can still expect to see the game arrive on the original February launch date.

The Life is Strange Remastered Collection has faced many challenges since its announcement back last year. It was delayed for all consoles once before due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which has thrown a curve ball at the gaming industry overall since the outbreak started. However, it was also because the developer, Deck Nine, needed more time to work on the collection without crunching the employees.

Life is strange remastered nintendo switch release date

Square Enix has announced a new release date for Life is Strange: Remastered Collection on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via Steam, and Stadia: February 1, 2022. The collection contains Life is Strange Remastered and Life is Strange: Before the Storm Remastered, and it will include remastered character and environment visuals, a new engine and lighting upgrades, new fully motion-captured facial animation in Life is Strange, and “Deluxe” content for Before the Storm, including “outfits, ‘Farewell’ episode, (and a) Zombie Crypt outfit.”

Life is Strange: Remastered Collection was originally supposed to launch this month, around the time of new title Life is Strange: True Colors, but the release date was delayed so as to give the developers breathing room to get everything right. Nonetheless, while True Colors released on all its other platforms this month, the Nintendo Switch version of that game was also delayed. Now, True Colors is coming to Switch at some unspecified time later this year. However, the game received a positive critical reception on its other platforms, so it should be worth the wait.

Meanwhile, the games included in Life is Strange: Remastered Collection already come acclaimed, so the bottom line is you will be enjoying a lot of narrative adventure stories on Switch soon.
