Try using the flashlight feature of your cellphone or an actual flashlight straight onto the face of the alarm for a full 120 seconds. If the alarm is getting AC power, the green ring should come on solid. If it doesn't then that is an indication that the alarm is just running on battery only and not getting AC power and you will want to make sure the alarm is plugged and that none of the wires have come out of the plug or the wire caps in the electrical box. If you still are not getting a solid green ring, have this alarm trade places with another alarm that is getting a solid green ring and see if the problem follows the alarm or the location. If every alarm plugged into this location refuses to get a solid green ring even with a flashlight held up to it for 2 minutes then there is a wiring issue in this location. If this alarm won't get a solid green ring where another alarm will, even when a flashlight is held up to it, then it is an issue with the alarm and you will want to call us at 1-800-880-6788 with the alarm in hand. It has a Green LED ring that is on constantly when the alarm is getting AC power and in a brightly lit area or the green LED ring will blink every 60 seconds if it is just running on battery and will only blink on one small part of the ring every 60 second if it is in a dimly lit or dark area. If the alarm goes off and sets off the other alarms, the green LED will flash every second. Some distributors use part numbers and some distributors use model numbers.
