That said, I should have previewed the tracks before buying the entire thing. It's still a cool and different sound and I liked it. My only complaint is that her single is so drastically different from the rest of the record...it's a little misleading. I had no idea (due to little or no promotion) she had released her debut album until I saw the edited version at Walmart on sale. I knew some of her music from Hot 93.7 (Hartford, CT station). I have been waiting on a full length album. The singles released previously are great and the other records are too. I am very happy with my purchase and glad I bought it! Kat Dahlia can certainly sing her behind off, her sometimes jagged vocals may not be for everyone but I love her voice range jagged edgy to soft as honey, and her songwriting is just as good. I first heard Kat when listening to NPR's 'Alt Latino' station on the web.
