A contactless ticket is a digital pass that can be stored within the Google Pay app on your phone and be used to enter Ascot Racecourse by holding your device to the turnstile reader at the gate. 

Q - How do I choose to receive a contactless ticket?

During the checkout process you will be offered the option to receive a contactless ticket. Please note that this may not be available for all enclosures.

Once you have completed the checkout process you will then receive an email confirming your booking and a separate email which includes a link to add the contactless ticket to the Google Pay app. Please note that if multiple tickets have been purchased you will receive one set of emails per ticket.

Q - How do I add my contactless ticket to Google Pay?

You will receive your contactless ticket(s) via email, once this has been received:

1. Open the email on your phone

Q – How can I view all my contactless tickets?

All contactless tickets that you have added to your app can be viewed by opening the Google Pay app on your phone. 

Q – Can I forward a contactless ticket?

For each contactless ticket purchased you will receive a single email that contains a link to download that ticket. Forwarding on the email will allow the recipients to download that ticket.

Q – Can I have multiple tickets on a single phone?

Yes, multiple contactless tickets can be downloaded to a single phone, once selected you can swipe left and right to view all tickets.

Q – How do I enter Ascot Racecourse with my ticket?

1. On your Android device, open the Google Pay app

If you have more than one Google Account, confirm you signed in to the account you used to save the ticket

2. Locate your Ascot ticket on the Passes page

3. Tap the ticket or pass you want to use

4. Hold the back of your phone against the reader to scan your ticket, and enjoy your day at Ascot

Q - Can I delete my contactless ticket?

To remove a contactless ticket:

1. Scroll down in Google Pay, then tap Edit Passes

2. Tap the arrow button

3. Tap Delete

Or tap the ticket that you want to remove, tap the three dotted icon, scroll down and tap Remove Pass

Q – What happens if I cancel my tickets

When tickets are cancelled, your contactless ticket will be updated in Google Pay and greyed out and you will no longer be able to tap for entry.

Please note that in some cases Ascot may be required to cancel all tickets generated as part of an order, in these cases a new contactless ticket will be generated for any tickets that have not been cancelled.

Q – Can I still use my paper ticket

Yes, if you have arranged to receive a physical ticket this can be used for entry, however once this ticket has been scanned the digital ticket will no longer allow entry

How do I get my tickets saved on Google Pay?

Use your ticket.
Open the Google Pay app ..
At the top right, tap your profile picture. Wallet..
Touch the bottom of the screen and swipe up..
Tap the ticket..
Show the barcode or QR code on your phone so the attendant can scan it. If you have more than one ticket, be sure to show each barcode..

How do I add football tickets to Google Pay?

This can be found in the Google Play store..
In the Ticketmaster app, sign in to your account..
Tap My Events to view your order..
Tap on Add to Apple Wallet or Google Pay..

How do I download Ticketmaster tickets to my phone?

How do I use Mobile Entry for Android?.
Open your Ticketmaster App..
Tap the menu icon on the top left of the screen and click “My Tickets.”.
