I JUST HAD A REBUILT PUT IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO. iT WAS FINE
BUT NOW IT JERKS WHEN i SHIFT FORWARD OR BACKWARD. bY THE
WAY IT IS A 2007 COBALT

How do you check the transmission fluid on a 2008 Chevy Cobalt?

There is a Small 11mm Plug on the bottom of the transmission if your looking towards the back of the car when your under it its on the left side of the transmission its a small bolt start your car and take that out if transmission pours out its full if not fill it up till it starts coming out.

Can I just refill my transmission fluid?

You can add more by inserting a funnel into the tube the dipstick was withdrawn from and pouring a small amount of automatic transmission fluid into the pipe. Check the level each time you add a little until the level is right between the two lines.
