Hi, I go to gym daily and my trainer is recommending me for atleast 7-8 eggs daily. Can you please suggest me how may eggs with yolk or whole egg can consumed. He suggests me to eat atleast two whole eggs per day. is it good to to have?

Yes your trainer is right .. for muscle development, you need to have atleast 7-8 eggs in a day. You may take first set of 1 whole egg along with three whites once in the breakfast and then you may consume another set of 1 whole egg with 3 white after your workout regime. Try to consume the fat and carbs before workout and protein intake like eggs/ chicken/ paneer as per your choice post workout.

Yes u can take 1-2 whole egg daily basis but don't take more than 2 ,and also it depend body requirment also so plz connect directly for getting best answer of ur queries .

Great morning, if trainer suggesting to take 7-8eggs, he must giving your workout also to that intensity, first of all confirm with your trainer that, 2-3 egg yolks will be great for your intensity workout, because egg yolks contains more nutrients than egg white, especially good cholesterol that will help to improve your endurance

Hi,good morning 2whole eggs per day is fine.excess intake of egg yolk daily not advisable u can take egg with yolk 2-3days only in a week,rest days eggwhites.Try to have a high carb,high protein,high fat diet with optimal level of fiber as well as vitamins n minerals containing foods.pls always consult an expert before taking any foods.

Greetings! One whole egg per day is sufficient, rest can be taken as egg whites. Daily taking egg yolk is not recommended, include thrice a week

Hello user, Thank you for writing us on practo, If you are going to gym then the protein requirement will be higher for you may be that's the reason your trainer is advising you to have more eggs but we even have other foods which are also good source of protein like All types of pulses (Soya,Rajma,Chana,Chole),Low fat paneer, Tofu,Soya milk, Almond milk, Lentil soups, Chicken/Fish(Weekly Twice).So try include all these foods instead of depending only on eggs for the protein. You can include 2 egg whites everyday and whole eggs you can have weekly twice.
