For about half a c-note, you really cant beat it. Unit is approx 11" x 11" x 6" tall (when setting flat on floor, including cables and protrusions). Full charge shows 13v on the display. I bought this for my sister to keep in her car and to take along on side-by-side trail rides. Charges via typical 2-prong AC extension cord (no special power adapter or anything to keep track of). The air pump is digital, which is convenient. Display illuminates indigo blue. The display shows remaining voltage and a battery bar. Dual usb ports @ 2 amps. The light is positioned so it will shine straight ahead and slightly up, which would be about right for working on a flat in the dark. Beeps if you connect the jump leads backwards on the battery. I aired several tires back to back (lawn equipment, atv, truck) and the pump worked as expected. After several tires, batt gauge still at 3/4. For the money, i have no complaints. Its a perfect size for my sister and/or trail riding without feeling sub standard or "iffy". Not as heavy and cumbersome as my other "full sized" packs that have inverters and whatnot built in. The air pump will offer piece of mind when out on the trail (paired with a tire plug kit) That said, here are my criticisms. ... Would be nice to have a cover over the button and usb panel. One similar to the rubber cover on the charge connector would be ideal. Just seems like it would be easy for the unit to be powered on accidentally if something hit the buttons (air, light, or usb, not jump function), leaving it drained in an emergency. Also, seems like common sense to, at the bare minimum, put covers over the usb ports. Wpuld be really nice to have a storage compartment on the unit for storing a tire plug kit or other emergency items. Seems like theres a fair amout of hollow real estate in the handle area, and with a little bit different case design, could easily offer a place to store related items. The case feels sturdy overall. The handle itself is rubberized, but the rest is smooth plastic. The jump start knob looks like cheaper plasitc tho, and the label sticker on the button panel needed smoothed out where it was lifting a lil bit. Not a big deal, just cosmetics. The pack doesnt stand up straight. Wants to lean toward the top side. Would be nice it it stood up. Really, its designed to set flat on the ground. The jump cable clamps are all metal with powder coating. Feel sturdy. Leads are 24" from box to tip of terminal clamps. I havent jumped anything yet, but im confident it will do just fine. Idk if i would expect this box to jump large trucks or handle a lot of back to back to back jumps, such as in commercial fields. But for occasional residential and/or emergency use, it hits the mark, and the price vs features makes a very attactive product.
