Best tropical places to go in november

My boyfriend and I are looking to take a week long trip in the first week of November for his birthday, but we don't know where to go. We are looking to visit an island/beach that offers great weather, isn't crowded and offers great sights. We want it to have a romantic yet fun (nightlife, daytime excursions, or downtime with drinks, etc.) experience. An all inclusive is also ideal as we have a budget set forflight & rooming of $3,000.

I would begin searching in the Caribbean and/or Mexico for all inclusive deals. :)

Look into the Playa del Carmen area of Mexico. Lots of all inclusive resorts, great beaches, ruins to explore, etc.

I think that some of the other suggestions above (Barbados, Jamaica, Mexico/Playa del Carmen) meet your criteria in terms of destinations with all inclusive resorts and "things to do" (see below), but I wanted to add a couple of thoughts regarding your request " to visit an island/beach that offers great weather, isn't crowded and offers great sights".

- Weather: November still is hurricane season (June 1 - Nov 30) in North America/Caribbean. While November usually is not as active as the middle part of the season, rain or tropical storms are possible in the Caribbean and Mexico. The southern part of the Caribbean usually has less hurricane possibility, particularly the ABC islands of Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao. So, if you are worried about the possibility of rain or tropical storms, you might want to consider Aruba, which I think is the best fit for your other criteria.

- Crowds: Early November is usually relatively uncrowded in the Caribbean/Mexico, given the end of hurricane season, lack of holidays, and because it is too early in the season for many North Americans to need to escape the cold winters at home.

- Things to do/great sights: If there are specific activities or types of sightseeing you want, you should note them. For example, if you want to snorkel or dive, some destinations are not good for this. Similarly, some places have a lot more shopping than others. If you want to hike, tour ruins, zipline, etc. this will lead to different recommendations as well.

- All inclusive: Finally, some destinations are better for all inclusive (AI) resorts than others, and all inclusive vacations are not necessarily cheaper. I understand that many people like paying one price and not having to worry about how much food and drinks cost while there. Still, if you are going to do a lot of excursions and/or leave the resort to go out at night, you might want to consider non-AI properties too, especially if you find the mix of other things you want at a destination that is not really an AI destination. If you specifically are looking for AIs, the Dominican Republic and Mexico offer a lot of choices and the best value for your money.
