With rates at less than half that amount per night, a ton of amenities, and no tipping allowed, it’s hard to beat the value when it comes to a tropical vacation. The resort offers three outdoor pools, a swim-up bar, and submerged seating, as well as direct access to the pristine white sands of Cable Beach. Entertainment is offered daily and includes dancing, live music and shows.

Samba Vallarta - Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Located on Banderas Bay, Samba Vallarta by Emporio Hotels & Resorts is an intimate Spanish colonial-style resort, at least when compared to the many huge hotels in this area. It offers a laid-back, friendly environment with fewer crowds to contend with at the beach and the pool. It enjoys a beautiful oceanfront location, facing a long, sandy beach that’s great for swimming right in the heart of Riviera Nayarit, with all meals, snacks, and beverages included. Guests also have free access to non-motorized sports like kayaking, boogie boarding, and sailboarding, as well as nightly entertainment, including live music shows. It’s an ideal place to choose if you’re looking for an all-inclusive but would rather not stay at one of the region’s mega-resorts.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino - Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

One of the best all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is a massive all-inclusive beachfront property that sits on a stunning stretch of white sandy beach, featuring signature Hard Rock decor and paraphernalia throughout. While it does tend to attract partiers, it also draws couples and families, and even includes a kids’ club with a mini-golf course and arcade room for the younger ones. Though it boasts better amenities than many of the other resorts in the area, it tends to be more affordable. While it takes a while to get from place to place due to its sprawling size, a complimentary shuttle is available. Other amenities include a huge fitness center, an 18-hole golf course, the largest casino in the country, 13 pools (one with water slides for the kids), and surprisingly varied and tasty food options.

Solmar Resort - Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

One of the smaller, more intimate resorts in Cabo San Lucas, the highlight at Solmar Resort is its location: beachfront and just steps from the marina and downtown, complete with awe-inspiring Pacific ocean views. While it only hosts a couple of restaurants right on-site, guests have access to a number of restaurants at other Somar properties, and luxurious suites even include full kitchens for those times you’d rather throw something together on your own. Enjoy swimming in the infinity-edge pool, sipping drinks at the swim-up bar, soaking in the sand and the sun on the private beach, and indulging in spa experiences too.

Iberostar Royal Andalus, Spain

The Iberostar Royal Andalus is spread across a beautiful stretch of shoreline south of Cadiz above the sand dunes of La Barrosa Beach in Spain. It offers more of a boutique-like feel than that of a large resort, with many of the spacious rooms providing ocean views. Renaissance Curacao - Willemstad, Curacao

At the Renaissance Curacao, enjoy budget-friendly rates right in the heart of colorful historic Willemstad overlooking the Caribbean. It has two gorgeous infinity pools, including a standout oceanside sandy, saltwater pool, an on-site casino, multiple restaurants (a steakhouse and a buffet-style eatery) and bars. All rooms have flat-screen TVs with international cable channels and most include balconies, some with ocean views. Do keep in mind that the low prices also mean that drinks are excluded from the all-inclusive rates.

Hotel Riu Palace Pacifico - Riviera Nayarit, Mexico

Hotel Riu Palace Pacifico arguably offers the best value of the three classes of all-inclusive it has in Nuevo Vallarta, a planned resort on the Pacific coast of Mexico just north of Puerto Vallarta. The property features a large pool with a swim-up bar and in-pool loungers, while the sprawling grounds are immaculate with swaying palms and garden pathways. There are multiple dining options, including upscale specialty restaurants, along with a theater presenting nightly live shows.
