Air jordan true flight black and white

Apart from purchasers who dig sneakers that display a retro vibe, the Jordan True Flight is also for:

  • users looking for a breathable variation of a high-top sneaker
  • buyers aiming to own a durable, grippy sneaker suitable on and off the hardcourts
  • Jordan fans who want to don an non-weighty model for their daily errands

Who should NOT buy it

The Jordan True Flight is not for you if you despise tight-fitting footwear. Its Neoprene Dynamic Fit inner sleeves contribute to its narrowness; thus may give you an uncomfy feeling. You may check the mid-top Jordan Flight Origin or the low Jordan Flight Luxe for alternative options.

Jordan True Flight: Flaunting next-level style and comfort

If you are looking for a high-top basketball sneaker that can also take you to places in style, then the Jordan True Flight is probably one of your best options. The leather and durabuck upper boast sufficient reinforcement that gives your feet the much-needed support, while the side cut-out details offer breathability and added flair.

Adaptable look for various styles

While it may look bulky, this model is the kind of shoe that goes well with anything. A great addition to your growing list of retro sneakers, wear it with jeans or shorts, and you're good to go with low-key comfort and on-trend retro style.

Adequate support on and off the court

Based on a basketball shoe silhouette, the Jordan True Flight is equipped with an adequate foothold. Slip it on and off with ease as there is a nylon web pull loop on the heel. The lacing system (that stretches up to the ankle level) and the Neoprene Dynamic Fit inner sleeve provide a secure and snug fit.

Jordan True Flight vs. Air Jordan 7

This sneaker reminds most Jordan followers of the retro Air Jordan 7 model. From the upper down to the sole, the two silhouettes are almost identical in such a way that those unfamiliar with the Jordan Flight models may confuse them as one shoe. Thanks to the overall profile, collar construction, and midsole detailing, the Jordan True Flight could double as an AJVII – but just at first glance.

Look closely, and you will notice that the True Flight is, in fact, just an updated version of the Air Jordan 7 silhouette. Taken from the AJ 7 are the collar structure, including the Jumpman logo placement, and the peak details on the midsole.

Although similarly looking, the True Flight has a flatter outsole with multi-directional Herringbone-patterned sections for increased grip and traction on any kind of surface, and a full-length Zoom Air unit for superb performance cushioning.

The introduction of Jordan True Flight sneakers

The men's Jordan True Flight basketball-inspired shoes made an official debut on January 17, 2009, with a retail price of $140 a pair. Before its official launch, the sneaker market highly anticipates its arrival as a promising addition to the growing Jordan sneakers lineup.

After a series of releases, True Flight underwent a short hiatus and came back in 2014 with additional colorways and new releases, and again in 2017, including versions in grade school sizing.
