I have been using this castor oil for the last six months a few times a week specifically on my edges. I never realized how thin they were until I started watching a lot of hair tutorials. I'd say I started to notice my edges filling in more after a month of use but I am still not at my goal since I do not always remember to use the product every week. This is literally the only product that I have seen results with. I have 4c, medium density, high porosity hair. In the picture the right is before and the left is 6 months after use.

Purchase this around 10 days ago. I wanted JBCO based on my need for something to help with hair breakage, hair loss and hair growth. Based on articles and reviews for JBCO, I purchased this brand and I am very pleased with the oil I received. The viscosity is thick but easy to apply to your hair or face. Just a tiny amount will cover your fave and a nickel size amount for your hair. Additional amount if you add to your scalp. My hair growth journey with take a few months to see but there are other benefits that I can see or feel now.
My hair is dehydrated and breaking badly all over. 7 days of this oil lightly applied (and right after conditioning) to my hair has softened quite a bit and hair breakage is minimal in a short time. I apply again a few days later along with a few spritzes of water. This leaves my hair much softer and manageable for several days. This quick change in my hair motivated me to purchase several of the As I Am JBCO hair products. I expect the two together will do wonders and allow my hair to stay where it should and not on the floor or comb. The other usage that surprised me was a face oil. I have started the double cleansing method with jojoba oil and then African black soap. These two together are clearing up my skin BUT my skin is VERY dry afterwards. Now I apply my moisturizer and then JBCO and the results are great. I have now simplified my nighttime routine to 4 products. I am impressed with my skin it the morning. The results are supple skin, my acne is clearing up, minor scars are fading and my skin is far less dull looking.
My hair is 4c, dehydrated, breaking and my scalp is irritated and red. At this point I use it on my scalp only after washing but plan to up that to twice a week soon. My journey just begins.

When it comes to castor oil Sunny aisles is the only brand that I will buy. I use it for everything my hair, my skin, especially to grow and strengthen my eyelashes after them popping from wearing individual lashes. I’ve seen results in a very short time span and my lashes are starting to look healthy and long as they were prior to me wearing individual lashes.

I believe this product is fake. It arrived bubble wrapped, when I removed the lid the protective seal had already been removed and was just sitting on the bottle neck. The smell did not smell like a neutral castor oil smell it smells like a cheaper oil maybe rapeseed oil. I believe that the bottle had been refilled with this cheaper oil

Apologies but cannot upload a photo as my phone camera has broke.
Twice I have received this and on both occasions the sealer has been open. Furthermore it does not smell the same and a very clear light liquid texture compared to dark thick oil im used to. Having a little of the other still in my 4 0z one I got from the shop to compare.. just incase I thought it was me.. although a regular user, and most definetely this is not the same product.
Massive disappointment amazon.👎
I am happy to send back these as I have given up on trying Id rather spend more money and be guaranteed of what is being applied to my hair.

The seller assured me that this product was genuine but don’t think it is. Crooks! My scalp always feels itchy after applying it. Amazon needs to do a better job of regulating who’s allowed to sell on their site and more options for customers getting their money back because what the heck is this!

I will forever stick to this it is the holy grail of hair products. I use it to do my 3 year olds hair and also my own, amazing with some water for moisture and length retention.

Thick consistency, smells burnt or like ash or cigarettes. Im not sure if it should smell like that. I dont mind the smell as it doesnt linger. I have never used castor oil befor and have nothing to compare it to in terms of smell . Its moistrises well. Packaging could be better. It comes in a glass bottle so to use without making a mess you need to invest in ine of them bottles with a tip. This will also reduce spillage and excess application
