Has anyone successfully disabled the seatbelt chime? I tried every procedure I could find online and can’t get it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Are you talking about driving without the seatbelt or something else? I have noticed a single chime around the same time as the automatic door
lock engages. I think it is associated with the seatbelt chime. The timing seems to be around when the constant chime would sound if I did not have the seatbelt buckled. Anyone else notice that? It is a minor annoyance. Joined

I use these, mostly for driving around our hunting property when we’re in and out over and over and don’t bother buckling up.

Did you have to use the security bypass cable? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yes, the Tazer JL Mini plugs into the SGM harness. After you make the vehicle changes, you can remove the Tazer and still have the vehicle function changes work like turning off seat belt ding, TPMS, ParkSense, Travel
Link, fog light drop out and adjusted items like tire size and gear ratio.

Hi, did we get any further here? In all other cars I have managed to turn off this sound. I want the freedom to take off my belt without the car telling me no, you're not allowed to that. I don't have a tazer.. /Eirik

Thanks! That was the first thing I tried. Maybe I do it too fast or slow. Or that the car is in Norway. Trying a little more

Worked for me. Try again and just follow along with the video....? I tried. I just can’t get it to work for me. I tried a couple other methods too. But Thanks for confirming that it did work on a 2021 4xE.

I asked Jeep on their Instagram account and I did get a reply… They said that only a dealer can disable it. So that’s contrary to what other people have said on this forum.

What’s interesting is my Jeep does exactly what his does after I do it. It beeps on start up then shows the seatbelt light and no beeping. After driving for a few minutes then it starts beeping at me. I’m going to try again but I’ve tried 4-5 times without success at this point.
