Calls that go to directly to voicemail do so because the network can't connect to the phone or thinks it's busy, for whatever reason.

You can adjust the time that the phone rings before a call forwards to voicemail either by using GSM service codes (a.k.a. Hash Codes) or through an app, such as "Advanced Call Settings."

Hey there! The short code to delay the forwarding to voicemail is **61*18056377243**seconds# (Choose a 5, 10, 15, up to a 30-second delay. For example, dialing **61*18056377243**10#would be for a 10-second delay.)

But! If you are having this issue, as mentioned above, there may be some issue with your connection.  You might want to reach out to care for troubleshooting or a possible trouble ticket with engineering.

These suggested “hash codes” may have worked three years ago but not now.

Also, how does one reach support these days in 2022 which I have never used.  There is no chat, and there appears to be no technical phone support.  I pay good money each month, and walked into a low price pay as you go store, and they showed me how their system works where Sprint/T-Mobile DOES NOT,  and for 1/3rd the monthly fee.

Hey Badomen, The short codes that we have listed here Self-service short codes | T-Mobile Support are up to date based on our network options. I am curious about which one you are trying that is not working.

There are a few ways that you can get support for the account and technical issues. Our contact information is all listed here  Contact Us (t-mobile.com) . If you call in, you can talk to your Team of Experts and they have dedicated tech reps available. You can also message us through the T-Mobile app, website (after logging in), Facebook, or Twitter. We try to provide support in a variety of ways so everyone has a comfortable way to et the help they need.

One problem with GSM service codes (a.k.a. hash codes) is that they don’t work with WiFi Calling. You must turn your phone’s WiFi off before using them. I used a couple of codes just last week.
