Description
BioLube CBC is a readily biodegradable chain saw bar and chain lubricant designed for chain saws used in forestry, landscaping and similar applications. Its excellent lubricity and temperature stability provide smooth mechanical performance and superior anti-wear protection while it’s added tackiness minimizes sling loss. BioLube CBC’s readily biodegradable formula protects vegetation, wildlife and the environment, and is suitable for the lubrication of chain saws and similar wood cutting equipment in all ecologically sensitive environments. This product is offered in two viscosities, ISO 46 and ISO 100. The 46 is preferred in colder conditions and the 100 is preferred in warmer conditions.

Schaeffer's 116BC Bar & Chain Lube with Moly (5-Gallons) is a para-synthetic, tacky, heavy-duty oil designed to lubricate:
- chain saw bars,
- chains,
- slides,
- saw guides.
Schaeffer’s Bar and Chain Lube rapidly penetrates into the pins and bushings of the chain, providing a strong defense against metal-to-metal contact and chain stretch. Bar and Chain Lube has the detergency needed to minimize and prevent the buildup of pitch, wood resin, sawdust and other deposits on the chain drive sprockets and the bar.
Schaeffer’s Bar and Chain Lube is a one grade lube for year-round use. This eliminates the need to change viscosity grade with temperature change.
Bar & Chain Lube is blended from a combination of the finest quality polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic base fluids and Group II Plus base oils available. Blended into the Bar & Chain Lube’s base stock is a balanced proprietary additive system. Two proven friction modifiers, Micron Moly®, and Schaeffer’s own additive Penetro are also added.
